Hikari sinking carnivore pellet stench?

Well..Mine get them fast so it's not much of an issue ...I was feeding feeders to my old Delhezi but the poor fish picked up pop eye and didn't catch it fast enough:(..Now i only feed pellets so stentch or not i want my fish to stay healthy!

This was the 1st time i have ever witnessed pop eye and it was horrible!
 
That is an amazing food....if they take out some of the ingredients then the smell will go away. And to be honest, you can't compare a "group" of live/frozen foods to one good pellet such as the sinking carnivore sticks. I would never put my bass back on feeders after I got them eating massivore.
