On another note, I also have tried the tetra jumbo Min food sticks for my monsters, I was NOT happy with results, they gobble it up, but "excrete" it ( How's that for politically correct ) the same as it goes in and it turns water the color of the food.
This product is new. It has not even been listed on the Hikari website.

Notice that on the add it recommends sinking carnivore pellets for you "Smaller carnivores". I'm guessing this is a much larger food.

now I just need to grow my fish to be large enough to eat it and then find some.
now I just need to grow my fish to be large enough to eat it and then find some.They've had it here in japan at least for the 2 months ive been here, not sure how much longer before that. its called Hikari Crest Big Cat here though. they have another similar food made by comet that is aimed at the same fish that sells better according to the lfs lady.
did you notice in the upper right corner that it says -
"The Perfect Live Food Alternative- Each pellet contains the calories of 1.8 goldfish"

Is it really that calorie dense? I mean 1.8 goldfish is a pretty big meal. Lol, does this mean only a few pellets will do? Hell you can use it as an energy bar if it is that calorie dense
