Actually they have both. For example, cichlid gold sinks and bio gold floats. Usually it's labeled on the bag.

they are floating and very very cheap man those big hikari food stick in aus are $90-$100 aus so its about 80-90 us $ it depends on what fish you have i like to use hikari hai feng fast color .
