How is it any less sad when your fish eats live feeders? What's the difference? They are live creatures and i put them in the tank knowing they will be killed.

The difference is the feeders are added intentionally to be killed and eaten. The feeders serve a purpose as food (though I don't use feeders). Throwing a helpless fish that is not intended to be used as food in with an aggressive fish just to be killed is a big difference. I guess the comparison would be valid if the GT actually killed and consumed the Gourami instead of just killing it. The funny part is the fact that his girlfriend believed that the Gourami would make a life-long friend with a GT. My wife tends to let her heart decide what she wants in my tanks. But i have to tell her know many times. There is no way I'm going to let her put a Ghost Knife in the same tank with my 9" Red Devil. It's much easier just to set up a community tank with compatible fish that pleases her.rolandk10;5158504;5158504 said:How is it any less sad when your fish eats live feeders? What's the difference?
