They look great, wait till they settle in to see their markings. I sent you the ones with the best markings, really can't tell yet since they seem still stressed. Let me know how they do.
Pedro

Jason try feeding live Black worms. That is all they were eating here at the shop. Keep me posted on the male.

Unfortunately, the male died a few minutes ago:( Came down to feed the rest of the herd and noticed he was in the front of the tank but not breathing. I took my feeding stick and nudged him, and he jerked a little. Then his disk started to twitch from the front to the back, and into his tail. This lasted about a minute and that was the end. Very sad to see a ray die right in front of you.

sorry to hear...:(

thats alot of hystrix deaths in the past few weeks...:(

Sorry bro.

:( Sorry

Thanks all.

Don't know whats wrong with all the hystrix, but I bought 7 hystrix when they landed here and 3 died allready.

Yesterday the last one died, and thats 2 weeks after the import. Just started curling up and a day later dead. As I lost 2 others as well, I wanted to see if there was something wrong internally. Suspected hooks or something, but couldn't find anything.

STRESS, by catching, by transporting, bad water at holding facilities, by shipping to the importers.
And then shipped to the consumer/customer. They should be held for several
weeks at the importers facility until they have recovered from all this and then
sold to the consumer. But alas some importers don't want to assume the loses, quick
turnaround means profit.
