histrix rays

Don't know whats wrong with all the hystrix, but I bought 7 hystrix when they landed here and 3 died allready.

Yesterday the last one died, and thats 2 weeks after the import. Just started curling up and a day later dead. As I lost 2 others as well, I wanted to see if there was something wrong internally. Suspected hooks or something, but couldn't find anything.

What size are yours?

They vary from 3,5 inch to around 5.

I bought 2 larger ones at ~5 and the rest is 3,5-4

mine is wating a little shrimp too, as long as i do not feed worms first, then he will ignore the shrimp. Keep us updated,

Got my female to eat shrimp tonite.

The larger ones are doing okay. The look nice and fat and eat well. I only got them to eat live tubifex and red Mosquiteo Larvae. Didn't try to get them on other foods yet, as I am afraid that they would die from the stress as well. Transport times to europe are a lot longer than America.

The ones I am more concerned about are the 2 smaller ones that are left. They are nice and active, but their hipbones show a little. They are digging the whole day around for food and it looks like they are eating, but they aren't as fat as the 2 larger ones yet.
