They are definitly down here in florida louie I have them in the inside tank and pond. They help eating algea for me.

I have seen green mollies but not high finned like his . Only fairly drabbed ones . I mostly saw them in same small ponds by outskirts of Glades which sadly as days go by are becomg bone dry.

Man we are in dire need of real downpours .

I have seen orange and black high finned mollies by Key West brackish areas but at time had no way of catching them and Key west is hours away.

Have you seen/caught high fined types in freshwater?

Yes I would almost say that is a picture from my fish tank or pond... Looks EXACTLY like that ... You really need to get the pole net and hit the weeds by the shore...

Wow, those are beautiful! I used to keep some in my 75-gallon brackish tank that looked exactly like that, but I can't find them in stores now. All the "sailfin mollies" in the big pet stores now look drab and weak (probably because they're sick).

I wish I could find some like that. I have multiple empty tanks I could put them in. Great luck for you on the find, and I hope they stay healthy for you. Best wishes for you and your daughter.

Yes I do and I need to find new ponds as the ones I go to the shallow areas are dominated by jewel cichlids .

I just got a net yesterday and hope to try new area this Sunday . I have never used a net before only fishing method.

very nice! saw some of these last weekend kayaking, but had no net
