The one definitive conclusion I can make is that an aquarium is dirtier than used cat litter....But don't tell anyone

Of course it is, not as bad as a unchanged cat box but they are not the cleanest thing per say. but with proper water changes it is a functioning bio system, sterile tank is not a functioning tank, need to get some rot going on to spark the system up.
