yank the carbon has no use except for removing meds and tea stain water anyways try adding some vitimins to his food and give him a good variety krill ,salmon,worms,waxworms ect i'm sure hes getting good pellets as his main food he might be to old to recover at this point they dont last much longer then ten years good luck!!

i crush up multi vitmins without minerals and mix into the pellets crushed with some gelotin

actually oscars can live to be 20 year old

hes only half way

and about the carbon

i would remove it and put in some chemipure!!!

it really is wonderful stuff
