Chalk bass? you said colors are getting brighter so whatever it is it's gotta be really bright hehe
Finally, yup last post you got it =p
However from how he looked when I got him to how he is now... I am not sure if the colors he is showing are stress colors or regular colors cuse he looks very different.
He loves to hide in the rock work right now. I know I read up on them and they supposidly like water column and rockwork. I was thinking he should be lighter towards the bottom with that purplish/bluish spot and then the darker on the stop with the greenish looking half bands.

Aww, he is adorable! I'm sure he will warm up in no time. All of mine are freaked out & hide at first but once they realize everything is ok you can start to see their true personalities. He is a beautiful little fella or girl maybe? Can you tell their sex by color or fins? Congrats 
Thank you, looks like he is warming up to it, he dug out his little cave and already seems to have claimed it a long with a section of rock for territory and looks more like his normal coloration =] I am not sure if its male or female... I ll have to look into that.
