Not being rude, but can I ask why it couldn't be permanent if they get along?

It can be done, i just wouldnt recommend it. Have you ever seen a full grown oscar? They have a massive bioload. You would have agression issues and a VERY difficult time controlling nitrates. You might think you have seen a full grown 1 but that might only be like 12". Have you seen a 16"+ oscar? If a 75g is recommended for just 1 oscar by itself, imagine not even twice that gallonage yet 3x the bioload. Its up to you, i just dont think its a good idea.

Also, with 2 full grown oscars and a midevil dont expect to be able to have a bunch of big dithers or another small cichlid.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to seeing as most 125s are 18 inches long.

Granted, all fish have different personalities.... But it only took my 3 inch midevil a month and a half before he went psycho on all of his tank mates. Oscars included. They were also in a 125.

Lets put this question to bed, in most cases the only tank mate for a male red devil or midas is a dead tank mate unless you have a massive tank.

The oscar you try will have a permanently scared side.
