There is no such thing is a real freshwater shark!!! there may be some type of catfish they call a shark but no such thing as a fresh water shark!!!!

Well, technically..they do exist. Rare and scarce, they can be found in Australia and South East Asia. They are in the Glyphis genus and most likely illegal to own.

There's also the Nicaragua FW shark which is actually the bull shark. Not a small species by any means.
