At first I wasn't going to respond to this... But I remember in Your Nats thread You said You were a proud member of this community. As a proud member here You should know that many people here are handicapped. Some of our most prolific members here suffer handicaps. As a proud member here, I want to tell You that insults of this nature have no place on this site. We don't have to respect each other. Just please don't post in any thread of mine, quote me or refer to me directly on indirectly. I will do the same for You.

Sorry aqua, I've noticed this pattern from him since he got here. It's not fair to you and mfk is a place to enjoy and get away from stress and problems....I hope this is addressed immediately and I see it very degrading and absolutey uncalled for...

Been here a long time. I hardly think i have been a problem like you say for a long time. Just like others i get annoyed with dumb questions sometimes. Google is a great place to answer questions.

It doesn't matter how long you've been a problem the problem is you are problem. I believe in building comradarie, I asked a legitimate question on a complicated cultural discussion. And you reply with insults. I've already pointed out your history here. If you point out mine, it would be entirly different from yours. The difference between me and you, is that I'm genuine!!!!!!! Now that I'm on my computer I did Google the Hmong Language, and I found this interesting video.

I asked a sincere question. It's not far off base. At the .53 second mark he goes into detail about what I asked. Im trying to build friendships and learn in the process. You are trying to divide MFK and create issues in the process. This site is no place for that type of behavior young man!


I dictated this to my daughter, and She typed it, I stand by everything I've ever posted on MFK. You're clearly out of line , I'd much rather correct you online, than the real world. I can't recall such disrespect in my daily dealings . You've been exposed! Cut it out, Lol!

I'd say he's on the right track. I'd like to correct him on his pronunciation of the word "Hmong." It's pronounced mong, the "h" is silent.

It's a really easy language to learn I would say compared to other Asian languages or other language in general. You just need to learn the sounds of each letter and get the 8 tones down and you'd be able to read in Hmong even though you don't understand what you read. You'd be able to pronounce everything right. I believe him when he says he learned a lot in a week. I would say with a lot of practice you'd be able to have general conversations in a couple or few months. We use the English alphabet. I'm not sure if Hmong used to use Lao, or Thai alphabet/writing before but I've never seen it used so that must've been a long time ago.

I don't recognize what he's calling the "pahaw" alphabet. Never heard of it called that. He's either pronouncing it wrong or it's a Thai/Lao or Chinese word

I'd like to see his other videos where he says he's gonna pronounce actual words and show us how to pronounce

It's like saying hi or hello although in literal translation it doesn't mean that. We don't have a word for hi/hello

Nyob in literal translation means live or living

Zoo in literal translation means good. So nyob zoo is a greeting. We don't say hello or hi. We say nyob zoo

It's like saying how are you or how are you living or how's life. Did that make sense?

Oh and hmoob thaib teb means Hmong from Thailand

thanks for the breakdown. what are your thoughts when he says the green and white? I interpret green as being organic/the root. and white as literal. Am I correct, or is there more to it. not refering to beex. I don't need an explanation for his crazy tail... but the video. he spoke about green and white. is that an outsider thing or is it commonly reffered to as such?
