I've been in houses like that. Three different houses in fact.
One was my friend's house. Three stories, every single room filled with junk. Friend's mom was too obese to move out of her chair in front of the TV.
One was a family friend's house. You had to make a trail through the junk to get anywhere in the house. Rotting garbage in bags everywhere! She was institutionalized after a while and her kids taken away.
The other was a rental house my mom and I helped clean. I puked about three times cleaning that place. Human waste in buckets all over the house, rotting food in the kitchen. Dead cats in the basement.
I really don't know how people can live like that. It seems normal to them, they can't smell it, it's like they don't even see it.
