Hob filter - AC70 Or Rena 55 SF?

I <3 my aquaclears. I run 2 on my 55g with Petco sand and a JD that thinks it's a miner or something cuz it digs like a mofo. They are 6 and 8 years old and I'm running the original impellers and motors (that I've never lubed btw) I've never had a single piece of sand in my impeller or filter body.
