and turn whatever HOB you have now into a pothos plant filter, takes care of nitrates nitrites and ammonia, not to give you an excuse to reduce water changes but itll help!!!!!!!!!! trust me!!!!!!!!!, just go to food lion, food city, kroger, even walmarty and but a "pothos" big bushy full one,.. pull it out of the pot and rinse all the dirt off the roots, then take the catrage and bacteria bed out of your current filter.. throw a handfull of rocks from you substrate in there and... BAM!!! yoyuve got a filtration monster!!!

Its the bottom tank of my 55 stand It doesn't do well with photos i have a little thats been growing fully submerged but otherwise it doesn't grow as well as it does in my 29 gallon or my pond. Not changing out the Oscar as I've said before in the thread love him too much.

walmart has florecent lights for cheap and plant bulbs for cheaper.. zip ties will hold pretty much anthing in place, including 2ft shop lights, or even 4 ft shop lights if you drill a few holes.. and that will send you pothos for a trip, you could even get a single bulb shop light similar to a turtle basking light or lizard basking light, put a plant bulb in it and expect some serious growth..

I like 2 ac70 over 1 ac110 as you will get more flow for almost the same power consumption and you can alternate cleaning the filters.

actually I have both the ac 110 and 70 I prefer two 70s better flow IMO and like the man said alternate cleaning the filters plus put one each end of the tank
