I was just randomly driving around on the north side of Milwaukee and I saw this store. It was closed when I drove past cuz it was late so I had to go back today. After getting lost for 2 hours trying to find it. It was totally worth it. The pictures don't do it justice, but I will take a camera and do a full sweep of the store this weekend. I never saw a salt water pond before but the have one. They also have these 12 ft wide pits that the keep the gators and turtles and other big reptiles in.

No pics of the FRT (Fly River Turtle)? They're a cool store but extremely over priced on many items. But ok on very few. Aquatics Unlimited smashes Hoffer's in the fish department!

I agree with several other posters on the prices. But if you have kids it is an awesome store to take them on a tour. The displays ROCK!!!

agreed. hoffer's has some nice stuff, but the prices are ridiculus and the customer service is terrible. Some of the people who work there are extremely rude. Joe (fish guy) doesn't even seem to care about it, he treats the job as though he hates it. aquatics unlimited is the best place in the area, silver arowana there was 1/4 the price at half the size!
