I have two black arowana, about a foot long in a 210 gallon aquarium. I do frequent water changes, and have two very large marineland sumps with a 16w uv sterilizer. No ammonia no nitrates, ph is about 7. They get crickets, cichlid chow, beefheart, the occasion quaruntined feeder, silkworms, mealworms, waxworms, and the occasional pinky. One seems to have a series of small holes running down the top of hes head and along his lateral line. They are very small and the same on both sides of his body. Im not quite sure what this is, and I am having a hard time finding a picture that shows anything like that. They seem to be spreading so im getting worried. ANyone have aany experience with this kind of thing? If you do, mabye you could give me some ideas on how to deal with it?
Any help would be great!

Maybe it's the other arowana? What kind of bite marks do arowana's leave? What further tankmates do they have?

Not bits from anything I have, pretty sure about that. Probably just going to try treating with a hexamita based medication. I was thinking about using a liquid hexamita medication. I want to try makng it from scratch using metrazol (bad spelling im sure). Not sure on how much liquid to inject into a cricket... dont wanna od the arowanas. Any ideas?

Ask repair Repair's good with things like your problem. :D

Do you have activated carbon in your filter?... If you do please remove it as it is supposedly one of the causes of hole in the head disease.
