I have just gotten a red devil from my LFS (I will try to post pics) she has hith that is why I got her I felt bad for her she was kept in a 5 gallon tank and she was at least 6 inches long so how would I get I rid of it as I have no experience with if because none of my fish have ever had it thanks for the help

Hikari is okay, buy some meds and do lots of WCs. I would also add salt. Pics????

It could be a parasite and the best treatment is Metronidizol baths. That or a lack of certain vitamins. Hole-in-the-head sucks. Sorry

after placing in warm water to help liquify it apply neosporin directly to h.i.t.h.wounds every 12 hours then repeat/rotate w/carmex every 12 hrs
worked well with my butterkoferri
