hole in the head

i saw a couple of days ago my oscar like 7in had a scratch like thing but now it almost a gaping hole but its not deep more longer i can see what looks like fat or a brain.....i dont know what to do it seems kimd like hole in the head any advice would be great thanks

what do you have in the tank? ie sharp deco, mean fishies

if there are any fish picking on it, add a divider at once to keep the injuries and stress from getting worse

Does he get excited during feeding time. One of my o's scraped his head pretty dang good jumping and hitting his head on tank lid.
