Idk if they even know the real cause of it. Although its thought dirty water n poor diet.also again I'm no expert on this but I'm sure I've read that this is never fully cured, it may heal n look fine but its still there waiting to strike again.if you've dealt with it with oscars I'd treat your piranha the same way as them, they're just as tough if not tougher.just a thought is your sub deep?did you stir up a lot of stuff during your move n it affected your water quality?you for sure have enough filtration,maybe up the water changes to 25%-30% twice a week,see if it starts to improve.I think this is a slow disease to heal up.
 
my oscars have this and im changing the diet and changing the watter 2 times a week plus adding salt and upping the temp to 80f......its seems to be working so far....butt they are slow to heal for sure.....i have had all of my oscars donated to me by ohter people and the condition of them varies..some have it bad others barley have it at all
