It's a good opinion.HITH=hole in the head. IMHO=in my humble opinion.
no I don't have anything to test my water but I just my water to a local fish store today he said low PH and ammonia was finedo you have your own test kit by chance? API fesh water master test kit my fav, has been for years, can you run a quick water quality test? esp nitrates?
So all I need to is change the water now ? Idk if he's really sick cuz he still fights with other fish solooks like HITH to me, change the water and keep it pristine, IMHO. nitrates never over 10 at the most.
Thank you very much for the advises and he doesn't eat live food anymore well he still eats crickets but he doesn't eat feeder fish anymoreph an ammonia not the issue, high nitrates and diet are, get your self a test kit,

as fish keepers we are against nitrate creep, this is why we need to change the water, testing the water tells us how often and how much. but water changes need to happen, whither once a week, or twice a week or what ever.
keep your fishes water clean and pristine by way of water changes and it will get better, but as hole in the head takes time to get, it takes time to cure.
What he said. If your not gonna use metro... Use aquarium salt/rock salt/natural salt @ 1 tbs per 10 gallons. Full dose at first then add only according to the amount of water you are changing. If you can get him to eat pellets (which I doubt cause he's spoilt!!!) use the epsom salt treatment to soak his pellets. Then lastly, but most importantly, waterchanges!!!Stop the live food. Get metronidazole and treat the tank. Do likepops said and keep the water clean and nitrates less than 20. Water changes atleast 50% or greater twice a week. Get some Boyd vitachem and soak food (pellets) and feed the jardini. Keep posted. Good luck.
thank you . And you're right . He doesn't eat pelletsWhat he said. If your not gonna use metro... Use aquarium salt/rock salt/natural salt @ 1 tbs per 10 gallons.
