I've looked into a biotope set up in 6x2x2 for my bichirs. african butterflys are good as are elephant noses. If your going to be building a sump/overflow system I advise you choose your floating plants wisely and devise a way to keep them away from the overflow. don't want them blocking it up...
definately go for 4 odoes in that tank, if u cant find them anywere, you could probably do 40 congo tetras that would look sick! and for bichirs i would reccomend
