Caquetaia Spectabilis: The Spectacular Cichlid

Just wanted to post these up to show people how beautiful these fish are and to encourage more people to keep them. These are 3-4 inch juvies I got off of Aquabid. Last three shots are obviously of the fish and the first pic is a full tank shot thrown in for good measure. Enjoy!

Cookie, they look GREAT!!! If you look around you can see some of the pictures I took of my spectabile and myersi.... GREAT FISH!! Unfortunately I ended up sellin them all to make room, but I would get more for sure when i have the space! GREAT FISH! Only downside is their aggression...especially towards each other.... For some reason Caquetaia spectabile is more aggressive than myersi...which i thought would be the other way around. Once my spectabile hit 5" he started beatin on my parrots, then it was time to go...haha.

See, here is one of my dominant male Caquetaia myersi. VERY attractive fish!! LoL!! Absolutely loved them when i had them! Rapps has some right now actually at $125 a pop...not a bad price!!
