Holy crap...Help!

I was just running my tongue over my teeth, and felt something sharp. Thought it was food or something, tried to pull it off, didn't work. Looked in a mirror, and flipped out...its a ****ing hole in my tooth! What the hell!!!

I have never had a cavity before, my dentist always said my teeth looked really really good. Any ideas what this is? I am waiting for the dentist to call me back, and I can schedule an appointment.


I am really freaking out though...There is no pain whatsoever at the hole.

awww i dread the day i feel a hole in my tooth i've had no dental work at all and i'm soooo scared of the dentist

but 1 thing i do have is like have see through tips on my 3 teeth thats been worn away from acid....i eat alot of fruit but i get that enamel tooth paste.

how old are you? i'm 19 and i read that most people have some work in their early 20's not because of anything just because you get older.

Well, you are taking the right steps going to a dentist. Two of my back teeth have small hole like pits, but they have always been there and just require extra care. If the hole is small enough, maybe the dentist can "seal" it, without having to drill a big hole and treating it like a cavity.
