i think they're gold saums, i got them from pisces in Calgary, as for my water parameters the temp is like 77 and i have no idea about anything else, i have never bought a test kit in my life, and i've kept fish since i was young. although, its mostly out of ignorance, the more i read the more i realised how lucky i have been over the years. i have learned more about keeping fish from MFK in the last month than in my last 20 yrs of keeping fish. i use tap water untreated straight from the tap, the town water is awesome here (i'm in the middle of the rockie mountains after all). i will buy a test kit soon, i need to figure out this whole nitrogen cycle thing. i do weekly 40-50% water changes and i am filtering it with an eheim2217 and an AC500 (110). i never thought that i would have a spawn when i bought the fish like 2 months ago, i am amazed with the whole thing. any advice would be helpful. I am thrilled with the whole thing.
