Holy crap that's a big shark...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
An algae bloom can turn the water green and is not always indicative of poor water quality. Metals in the water combined with excess light or the wrong spectrum of lighting for many hours per day, etc. are just a couple of the causes. Also keep in mind that many of the fish we currently house are found in waters that are naturally cloudy or stained.

Was that an HOB filter on the front of that thing?

I think it was, LOL, It even says on the box of thoese things, "Hang On The Back"

Looks to be a similar size to my albino IR.

Mine is no where near 17 years old though...not even 10.

somebody get that shark in a pool! seriously, it would be so awesome to get in a pool, and its probably stunted enough (i know thats not good) that it could be in a reasonable sized one at that. Seriously, 3 sharks each around 2-3' long when its all said and done, that would be insane, and would really help those fishes out. not to mention you'd get a nice 120 gallon tank.

Atleast get him in a 240 or 300. a 180 would be a lot better. But was there only 1 HOB filter for filtration?

People who keep big fish in small, disgusting tanks make my blood pressure rise! :irked: Seller said it was a 120gal. tank. B.S! That ain't no 120!

:iagree: and Im having a hard time believing thats a 17 year old fish or even a ten year old fish after all those years that thing should be at least 3' long I had one for 2 years and in those 2 years it grew from 4" to 18".
