i was a medic when i was in the military, my doctor used to tell me that limbs and and fingers and some other stuff could be reattached, he said you gotta put them in ice till they're ready to be reattached. if i remember correctly, lol.

i saw a show where a dude's thumb got reattached and they used leeches to suck the thumb and keep the blood flowing
