My lfs had a 14"+ Dempsey x jaguar- it was soo cool it had the jaguar pattern with the jacks colors and the jags crazy eyes and teeth. Even when I was going to do my 125 freshwater I wasn't willing to spend $120 on a freshwater fish- I don't even want to spend that on my salt fish:/

they wanted that much for it damn if a have success i was thinking like $10 or even less like 5. i say this because with a female jag they will lay like 800 eggs lol and do so every 30 days. i will raise the best and sorry to say feed the rest :( to my other tank just because of no room. the only problem is i wont ship mostly because i am not experienced and dont want to give people a bad taste in their mouth.

There was a smaller male with it also humped back. Like 10". $60 imo is not a fair price but thats a whoooole other thread and debate.

way too expensive for one that's deformed like that.

I doubt it's stunted. Seems like some JD's just get hunch backed when they get big even if grown in large living spaces. Seems to be bad genetics.

Nice JD, do you have anymore pics?

Nah sorry dude he was flipping out i didnt want have him netted so long. I wish he was cheaper. I feel bad leaving old fish in a lfs because i feel they should live out the rest of their days with an experienced fish keeper. Not the first idiot that can pay for it who thinks oh cool and puts it in a 20 gallon. Can you imagine and old fish who has gotten this big just to be killed by some noob? Sad sad. Ill ask more about his past next time i go. Bo doubt some customer brought it in.
