I'm know shark expert but it doesn't look that bad of course it will need a larger tank when it grows but for know that doesn't look like that bad of a grow out the tank it appears to be just as wide mabye a little wider then the shark

That does not look like a short tail nurse shark. Looks more like the everyday nurse shark you buy at a pet store for no more than 500 bux! That might explain why it is larger than every other short-tail.
