Most of platinun usually grow very slow with deformed headshapen bodyshape or waved finlets because of their genetic defects.

Now it's very easy to see their differences.
Mine grew from 5” to 10” in around 5 months. I kept them in a 300 gallon tank at that time though. Right now my del is 12” and has been this size for about a year now.
Fastest one i'd ever kept was 8 cm when i picked and reach 30cm in 8 months.
And now over 37 cm, 6 years old
