just a heads up.......i threw some river rock into my 125.......i bought it from home depot for 3.99 a bag.......looks are natural and clean.........

I used pea pebble from home depot you cant beat the price $4 for 50lbs. Would love to see pics as well

Havent used the River rock, but i have 2 50lb bags of "medium" sand, and 1 50lb bag of "all-purpose" sand in my 180g, all from Home Depot. Love it, looks great!

I go to home depot more times than my local fish store for setting up my tank lol As long as it is "old" rock you will be fine. Old rock is generally ones that have to be mined like slate or river rocks, while newer rocks such as sandstone carry more minerals that may leak into the water.

pea pebbles from H.D. is what I LIKE ....also the pfs...but overall I like pea pebbles better ...as far as actual river rock ... it should look good and also should be easy to clean ..but IT will probably catch a lot of debris ,also....
