Home made Aro food,

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm getting tired of cleaning shrimp twice a day, I might try that with my fish (aros, rays, pbass). It would probably be cheaper too, I'm going through $150 worth of shrimp every month even though I buy it in bulk (six 5 lb boxes). You could even add liquid vitamins to the mixture for an added boost.

Do you think a food processor would work? I don't have a meet grinder.

I haven't tried a Food Processor, I have used my VitaMix blender. The Vita Mix is a little slower but it turns the meat into a smooth paste. I switched up to a Kitchen Aid meat grinder that attaches to a mixer, it's fast and very strong.
The meat comes out about half the size of a #2 pencil lead in small balls.

I figured it out and I save about $90.00+ a month.
