home made canister..lets see if it workks tommarow

the long pipe is the water flow out and i am hoping the water will pull into threw the top pipe in the middle of the canister. i used silicone from my LFS, its not the best tho, is there any other silicone i can use for fish and is strong... dnt want any leaks, going to place into a plastic bin while it runs for a couple of days if it even works.

reg silicone from HD once cured is fine to use...

good effort. Make sure the cameras rolling when you switch it on!

He means once it is "dry". Usually that takes about 24 hours; It may take longer if the silicone isn't exposed the air...ie sandwiched between a plastic bucket and lid.

cured/dry same thing.... might wanna let it sit for 48 hours... if its sandwiched it prob will take a little longer... better safe than sorry
