Just put the finishing touches on my new Poly cave. Got the idea from MrRngr94 with using aquarium sealant as glue to hold together rocks. Worked out great! I have here a pic of the schematic, then the final product from above, the same angle.
I first cut some toilet paper tubes, taped them down to a cardboard base, covered it in paper towel. Spread sealant on the paper towel, stuck some rocks and gravel from the tank and plants to it. Let it cure for 24 hrs, added another layer of rocks on the outside and an inner wall to divide it into 2 abodes. (see schematic)
Once this second layer is cured I'm going to soak it in water for a few days until the paper towel disintegrates and gets rubbed off. Thanks again for the idea MrRngr94! Will post pics once it's in the tank, I think it's gonna look great because I used rocks and gravel from the tank.

thats awsome, great design and idea of how to build it. it looks big tho, what size tank is it going into?

95 gallon corner tank, the cave is about a foot long at it's longest point, not too tall though, shouldn't clutter the tank too much, just like a pile of rocks really. because of the sha[e of the tank I'll probably set it right in the middle

Wow, that's really cool. Probably 20-30 bucks to buy something like that.
