How many of you guys have home theaters and do you have any pics? I'm currently in the market for a projector but I don't know if I want to spend the money on a 1080 unit. Feel free to post pics of Plasma and LCD setups though

I'm still a fan of CRT. The response times on the others are getting close, but they're not quite there yet. I've found some good prices on projectors on www.tigerdirect.com though. We ordered one from them (2500 lumens) and it would work great for a theater.

I have a 46" toshiba DLP, it's awesome! Unlike most of the others we looked at you can look at from any angle and the picture is just fine. No worries about burn in either, which is important since we play video games a lot. No fragmenting like in an LCD. 300 dollars for a new bulb if the bulb goes out, rather than having to buy a new TV if a plasma or LCD fails.
The picture on the toshibas was far superior to any of the other DLPs we looked at at the time. Maybe that's changed but I still haven't seen any better ones when glancing at TV's at any of the electronics stores.

Dont have pics of it installed but here is my Home Audio System.I just recently disassembled it because we are redoing the whole thing and adding my newly acquired subwoofer.
I dont care if I am watching my movie on a 10" screen,I can't fully enjoy a movie unless I feel like I'm in the thick of the action.

Well my rich ass friend has a 172" projection screen. Don't know much about it besided the fact I want one. It is in her theater room, Chairs have vibrators so they vibrate to the movie and she is currently running 2 300 DVD changers which the next one is coming soon. I want!
all depends on your budget and room size.
I just set up the Mits 73833 for someone. one crazy good set, it's dlp with 4 hdmi(1.3).
Panasonic has a good 1080p projector.
or for the low budget, Vizio gv line is hot. they have 42, 47 and 52. 1080p lcd sets.
