Your blacks probably both have the pink gene, or are heterozygous for pink. So you would get around 75% black and 25% pink, which is what your seeing.

get if if you want it, i don't see them too often here but they don't command any higher of a price tag then black either

Yeah if you want to get it, then go get it. Won't produce any marbled fry unless the striped as the calico allele, but yeah.

When can I start to tell if any fry are pink? Also I noticed my female has white around her eys and my male has blue. Does this have anything to do with affecting pink or blue and the genes or just random
