OMG, my Flowerhorn and my Midas have done the full rituals together:
Chasing all other fishes away from specific spot
Cleaned gravel to bare bottom at specific spots
Perform the "shake" on the bottom
Follow each other around all the time
No aggression towards each other except other fishes
But never any EGGS...so my GF suggest that they are both MALE, of course I detested to that saying, "That's impossible, only humans of same sex bond like that."
So I netted the Midas (Flowerhorn 100% male) and did the squirt test. Sure enough after rubbing HER tummy, a stream of liquid shot out! OMG
I don't know the accuracy for sexing with this method, so some insights PLEASE
