But a old plymouth duster roadrunner, or buy a chevy nova, or buy dodge charger from the 70's. All those cars can look amazing when u finish fixin them up! And if u wanna have ppl lookin at ur car when u go by i suggest those nothin like old true american muscle!

you forgot the good old Dodge Dart ;)
you can get them cheaper and they are lighter. do a good old fashioned engine swap to a 440, and you have a monster!!

yeah it can but the end result

i have not read the rest of my thread but from what I did it wasted my time, though some of it was funny,it wasted my time with the comparing american to import and the vette talk and such. Im looking into getting a cheap ass fun little car to sport around with and tinker with. I love all cars and they should all be in thier own class just like pro racing. Please stop with all the pissing contest and show your rides, tell me options as far as good mods and such, pros and cons, and then if someone wants to make a muscle thread go for it,I love all that too,but this isnt a american against import thread. All hase been funny but its became too hard to search for info. Thanks,OP.

Here is a JDM front R (you can google integra and find pics of different ones):

jdm-integra-type-r.jpg

I bought my first one for 2,8k and the second one for 3k

They are all worth tinkering with and just as cheap as any civic to play with. I ve seen them from 1k to 3k easy for an RS/LS/GS.... If you want a GSR or Type R you will pay more or a lottt more. You can always get the motor swaps for them for cheap, but you have to know what to look for. Always buy stock - don't buy someone elses ghetto rigged set-up (goes for any car). You want it done clean and right. You link me to ones in you area that you want to look at and I will give you my opinion =] Always test drive and NEVER buy automatic ;) As for mods.... well you can go so many directions its not even funny.... you have to plan you build out then figure out what you want, how you want your ride to feel and then think about companys you want to buy from that match those needs. Whatever you do don't buy DC headers.... they hurt you not help you. Make sure when planning a build you think about it and do it the right way so you don't dump in tons of extra money and just spin tires (lots of people do this...)

Hopefully this bit can help you on your quest for a cheap small car to tinker with.

Compare that to this
