Great shots Mo. Keep this thread alive with new pics!! I took some shots today with the fry out of the pot , will post them soon. The male you gave me is a mean SOB! Goes nuts when he sees the camera.

Looking forward to seeing them, pal. That seems to be their nature. There;s a reason I have the "Warning Attack Fish" sign under their tank. LOL

When do all of you start feeding your fry? My pair have some wigglers now....do you start as soon as they become free swimming? Also I feed my dovii fry crushed up brine shrimp but they where already around 1/2" when I got them...would that work for newly hatched free swimmers?

If they are with the parents they feed off whats available in the tank. I dump in some baby brine from time to time and as they grow some frozen Cyclops.
If they are in a seperate grow out tank they get fed twice a day. Same foods and eventually some "GROW" NLS pellets (great stuff) as they reach around 1/2".
I've noticed that when they stay with the parents they grow at a much faster rate.

Let a little algae grow on the rocks or pots in your tank. The fry will graze on that, then start with some crushed flake or pellets. I have a bunch of dovi fry now and they grazed the first few days after they started free swimming.
