I'm starting to get suspicious that I have four males, they don't tolerate each other at all. So in HRPs it's reversed then, withe males having a pinkish belly?
males have red in their fins, females don't. my female tends to have more blue on her face also. mine are a powdery icey blue colour, with blue undersides. the female has next to NO colour on her belly.
heres a pic of each. there seems to be two kinds when you research them, the bright white variety such as these, and the darker more blue version which you and other member seem to have. both are HRP.

most if not all HRP's have incomplete striping, its usually a blank break in the lines just behind the pectoral fins.
there are a lot of hybrids with convicts out there because a lot of people just consider them to be a regional variant of the convict. so fish that have full barred striping, little to no blue with dark bodies are usually (but not always) the result of interbreeding.
Ok thanks, I think two of mine are too young yet to sex accurately. One inch at most, the obvious male is a bit over two inches and the other is 1.5. I guess I'll just keep watching them, see what happens
