Honduras redpoint

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I believe the convict would be tough enough to stand up to them. eventually in my case the convict, fire mouth and blue acara will be in the only residents of my 75g. the others are headed to the 240g.

Do they have the same aggression, durability, attitude as the nigrofasciata? I have a shy fish that needs some smaller fish like convicts that can handle their own and these are much more visually appealing even on a bad day lol...
Hondurans are tough little fish when it comes to defending their brood. When they don’t have a brood of babies they are quite peaceful keeping to themselves.

My male is about 2.5 inches and he has no problems rumbling with my 7 inch jd without being injured.

Sometimes he nips parts of the JDs fins but other than that they are pretty good tank mates with JDs

Like others have said tough enough to defend itself. But not such a jerk to instigate fights. But has just enough jerkness in there to nip fins, especially those that lay around, catfish, plecos what have you.
