Here are some more shots of the Hoogs.
First is the female with her Ovipositor visible.
The second is the male in his breeding colours guardng the entrance to the spawning site.

killerfish there are a lot of amphilophus fish that look similar especially when younger. zalio's, hoogobomorum, amarillo, and saggitae are all pretty similar looking to barred midas. You can easily tell them apart with age though.

Syphoned off a couple of hundred newly hatched fry last thursday night, So far so good!!!!!!
