hooked on feeders

It's still small and will easily take frozen and/or pellets.

i tried to give him some black worms today he didn't even go for it so do i just keep tring the carnivore sinking pellets cause thats what i feed me albino sen also could he eat bits of lake trout

Mine wont eat sinking carni pellets, he eats bottom feeder pellets like theres no tomorrow though. Mine eats a combination of the two, bloodworms and sometimes colorbits.

Try food that fits nicely into his mouth without him having to bite it up, I found that cracking the pellets made the food more appealing to him

the owner of mine fed them chicken breast and shrimp. I tried switching them to carnivore pellets to but they wouldn't take them but they take shrimp pellets for bottom dwellers like corys and plecs.

get it eating at home and settled in. If it's in the same tank w/ your other poly. it will learn from watching the other one eat the pellets. try a bunch of different frozen foods as well. oddly enough when mine we're wee little they went nuts of ON's prime reef flakes.

Also... I agree with all of this 'cept the fish eating and not starving to death from lack of food, due to only offering it a particular food. More often then not yes an animal will eat. But I've seen them simply starve to death more then I care to like. And this is my own observations and oppinion. Once an animal has been starved long enough they lose their feeding response ( see anorexia in humans) ..
