Gnarly! That is everyones worst nightmare! Getttn something stuck in your eye. Glad to hear you made a good recovery. And even better the other eye works even better now.

It would be a good idea, it was a freak accident, the chances of the eye of the hook getting you smack bang in the pupil of your eye is very slim, especially when your pupil makes up less than 1% of your body.

I just had poor vision as a kid,I had to wear glasses which I hated and my eye doctor didn't even want me to play sports...I'm better now since having laser surgery a few years back.....best money I ever spent.

Thats awesome, I've heard conflicting things about laser surgery, it's good to hear it works! How much did it set you back?

Yeah,at first I was skeptical so I just researched and learned as much as I could about it for a few years before pulling the trigger....After the hassle of glasses and contact lenses I concluded that it was what I needed...It's been about ten years since I've had the procedure and it cost me about fifteen hundred dollars.

Definitely sounds like money well spent, not as pricey as I thought either, jeez I've spent that on my fish alone.
 
Tell me about it..I think it's even gone down some since then.
