Hoping for a Pleco ID

whatever he is hes not a snowball i have one and this guys spots are too yellow. though i would mind having what you got :) hes way cute anyone know for sure what he is??? would be interested in getting one to go with my snowball.

Well, it looks like a general Hypancistrus, just looking at the shape of it and unlike the others mentioned (such as Leporacanthicus and Baryancistrus with different head and body shapes).
 
My water was a bit off due to a new piece of driftwood, so that could acount for its spots looking a bit yellow. spots are whiter now.
