Tough to say. There was a very large group, but not the largest I've seen. I haven't seen any signs yet of the parents feeding on them...but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

maybe remove like 1/2 to 3/4 of them? siphon them out at night and raise them in another tank. for sure you will get a good amount to the 1" mark
good luck dude... and yeah... spread these guys around the hobby... they really shouldn't be as rare as they are.

Just a few pictures from last night, to update the progress. The parents are continuing to do a good job, and they look great:

I had a hard time getting the camera to focus so that the fry showed up...most of the time, it decides that the front of the tank glass is what i intended to focus on.

Feed the fry some live brine shrimp. They should beed up in no time.

Since you asked:

They're starting to put on a little size. Parents are still doing a great job (i.e., not eating them ).

There are many, many little ones in there!

I just blew that one up...so it isn't as fine as the others, but gives a close-up view.

These are lots of fun to feed. They really swarm to the food.
