Gold wolf is unitaeniatus.. But nice fish, how do you know it's cinereus? Just what it was sold as? And whys it bleeding? Hope he's ok, nice pick up

That is a beautiful piece of gold, brother!

It is not bleeding ;) the bottom part (belly and fins) of this fish is reddish including part of the gill plate and some parts of the body.

It was sold as cinereus

Nic wolf!

well, its definitely a nice fish, are you gonna comm it with your curupira? did you ask of any definitive differences from what unitaeniatus? like how he is so sure it is cinereus? I'm not the most accepting of fish IDs sorry lol, just curious and wanna learn

Ray has an awesome sized butis butis that i want. But can't cause of current finances. Probably sold by now.

Those are cool fish, I remember I had one, didn't do to well in FW, better in more of a slight brackish water set up. Not aggressive either, just a nice mouth on em. Haven't seen any since, the store only had three, it was also my first time seeing them.
