Depends what location its from. The Xingu ones were going for that ,but VZ ones were selling for more from what I understand. In any case it is a very nice wolf and is probably worth the $800 if it is from where I think it is from.

even so, i'm in the market for an aimara, and i'd much rather have a fish topping out at 4'+ than 16". definetly a nice fish though, and i wish Rw's all luck in selling it, i'm sure somebody here would be glad to have it.

Good luck growing an aimara to that size from the stated 12". You won't do it I am telling you now. You will be lucky to get one to 2 and 1/2 feet. And the VZ black wolf may actually top out at 30".:)

i've got alot of time, but beleive me i did pm dookie, who own's a 31" and mabey another couple smaller aimara's here in the states, and he told me they grow EXTREMELY slow, no wonder they cost so much as full gorwn adults, if push comes to shove i may have see about buying a 30"+ adult.:D

I know, my biggest is 34"+ which I bought at 30"+ and my other 3 aimaras were bought as juvi's and they have finnaly reached the 2' mark.

wow... i would have been satisfied with one 12"er for a few years, you definetly got me beat on this one, not only both true aimara and lacerdae, but many different sizes from many diffferent local's. not to mention channa barca, and is your albino lung the famous one from Ww's?-- If it's not to much trouble i'm sure we'd love to see this impresive collection...:)

Thanks , that would be the same lung. I love my wolf fish though, I 10 different varients of wolf fish 4 of them aimara and 5 are lacerdae and a lone mala.:) BTW that sig is old and it limits you too 8 lines only.;)
