[/ATTACH]So I mixed Pbass, black wolf and a big motoro. All is well for a week now. Only a light scratch on one azul and he was probable asking for it. Anyone have any issues with mixing the black wolf with others?

Note: The black wolf is 14inches long and the Moto is 16" disc diameter.

It's a brave combo including the Ray- My concern was always that if the Wolf bit the Ray's tail it would lead to both being killed but at the same time, It's something I've wanted to try. I would be interested to see how well it goes long term.

Good luck!

Great shots!!

Keep us posted, please

Looking good.

On the 31st of dec it will be a year since I kicked off my trial curupira comm.

Curupira
Vatf
Channa diplogramma
Cephalosilurus fowler

I have added some brycon since.

The only issue I encountered was when I tried to add another wolf

How do you manage with the Cephalosilurus, Jelly? Those are monster gulping machines!

Is it considerably smaller than the Wolf and the Channa?

It's about the same length as the wolf. The fowleri is the lesser of two evils. From what I have seen fowleri will only take food half there size. Apurensis are the ones to worry about, they get bigger and there are lots of stories about them eating or attempting to eat fish as big as themselves. I know of someone having a 12" Apurensis eat a 9" ray. There is also an example of one eating a curupira.

You're right about the Apurensis. But even so, that would be a comm I would never attempt.

Would be afraid of the night. Each and every night.....

After spending $200 (most i've spent so far on a fish) I've come to realize that I am just too paranoid and would rather keep it alone.

Also I find that the fish loses its ability to interact if it's kept with tankmates.

This however, is a very interesting mix.
